thoughts create reality

Thought is not, as is many times supposed, a mere indefinite abstraction or something of a like nature. It is, on the contrary, a vital, living force, the most vital, subtle and irresistible force there is in the universe. ~ Ralph Waldo Trine, In Tune With the Infinite

Thoughts have the power to create and we must be mindful of the thoughts we put out into the world. My thoughts are most associated with the power and beauty of this sacred earth.

I love the wilderness, the plants and creatures that inhabit this planet. In Robin William’s movie, What Dreams May Come, the characters created their reality through their thoughts. William’s reality was of creating beauty and since I first saw that movie I have held the intention to create even more beauty in my life in the manner through which he did in the movie, by making my thoughts my reality. To imagine flowers at my feet and seeing them become manifest at the next footfall. While living in Oregon, I manifested a Japanese maple tree. I wanted one so much but never purchased it. One day, while picking blackberries on the perimeter of my yard, lo and behold, a Japanese maple that was about 18” tall was growing under the berry patch. I transplanted it and it grew very big in a short period of time.

Book Review

My book received a really cool book review, with this accompanying image from Carlos Castaneda’s book, The Fire From Within, and I want to share it here. It’s been so interesting to receive feedback about the book and I appreciate the time that has been taken by those who have left Amazon book reviews and/or contacted me with personal insights from the readers’ perspective.

Thank you, John, for a very interesting and supportive review!

Beyond Carlos Castaneda’s Teachings: A New Perspective

Rare is the book that comes along that is both a pleasure to read, as well as serves as a treasure trove of insightful knowledge into personal and spiritual growth. Lorraine Voss’s Becoming Awareness is one such book.

Early within “Becoming Awareness”, Lorraine mentions Carlos Castaneda and the books he has written. Some explanation is due to this mention.

Presence After Recapitulation

As pure conscious awareness I could perceive and observe everything on the earth that I had recapitulated. There, before me, was a beautiful and diverse array of creation. The world, I realized, will go on with or without me. The patterns and man-made stories of the world will continue, only as long as there are people who are willing to uphold them. ~ Becoming Awareness

A couple of my long-time blog fans have asked me where my “fight” went. They seem to be puzzled, almost offended, at my lack of activism or radical engagement in fending off the predator, or the government, or the inorganic beings that feed off of humanity. It’s not that my get-up-and-go-got-up-and-went, there is just nothing to struggle against. The position of the assemblage point cannot remain fixated or we will not evolve. It boils down to unplugging, a surrender that comes not from weakness, but from strength, the strength that allows the seer to see power as it moves through the universe while bearing witness to what people choose to do with that power.

The Net of Oneness

Connect with the Earth; she will boost you beyond your wildest dreams. The alignment of her emanations with yours will deliver you into the amazing net of oneness, with humility, gratitude, and utter simplicity. This net, this web of creation, is where all dreams and visions are born, and from where we have the freedom to assemble our new reality in order to dance awake our own dream. ~ Nayeli, Becoming Awareness

We recently took a jeep tour through the bottom of Canyon de Chelly in Chinle, AZ with a Navajo guide. The canyon is not accessible without a guide if you are not Navajo except for a couple of places where you can hike down by foot, as we had many years ago. It was a beautiful journey as the 1,000 foot tall stone cliffs revealed Anasazi ruins, sentinels, and ancestors at every turn throughout this magnificent canyon.
