Losing Human Form

Everything we say is a reflection of the world of people. You talk and act the way you do because you’re clinging to the human form. ~ Don Juan, The Power of Silence

The dominant paradigm is a by-product of the foreign installation. It challenges humans to comply with a prescribed mode of behavior that does not inherently belong to them. It has been ingrained since the time of conception and is cultivated throughout the lifetime of each human, dictating to them how to act, speak, and conduct themselves in alignment with the unconscious culture, the people that keep the wheel spinning, each of them a mere cog in the wheel.

The Indescribable Force’s Emanations

There is no way to describe in words what the Indescribable Force’s emanations really are. A seer must witness them. They are a presence, almost a mass of sorts, a pressure that creates a dazzling sensation. One can catch only a glimpse of them, as one can catch only a glimpse of the Indescribable Force itself. ~ Carlos Castaneda

Think of yourself just as you are at this moment, nothing more, nothing less. Now think about the things that you have created in your life such as the home that you live in, a partner, children perhaps, a job, friends, pets. Now think about the stories that surround each of those creations to include a yard, a street, your partner’s job and friends, your kids school and friends, relationship with pets, your job related duties, contacts, acquaintances, your friend’s family and friends. Now consider that all of those people maintain their realities, their families, their friends and the stories connected to them.

Third Attention

An ordinary man sees the world as it is, as he’s been taught, conditioned and instructed to see it. A warrior sees the lines of the universe and knows the interconnectedness of all things. ~ Don Juan

The first attention basically consists of everything that ordinary man considers what it means to be human. It is the reality that has been constructed and developed in order to deal with the daily world and encompasses an awareness restricted to the physical body.

In second attention, one operates on an energetic level and the second attention is largely developed through deliberate training or accidental trauma which puts one back in touch with the energetic essence with which they were born. Sorcerers can see from second attention. This seeing includes the ability to hold the awareness of inorganic beings, to perceive energy directly and the capacity to connect with silent knowledge and intent.

Structure in the Nagual’s World?

Man has a dark side. It’s called stupidity. In the same measure that ritual forced the average man to construct huge churches that were monuments to self-importance, ritual also forced sorcerers to construct edifices of morbidity and obsession. As a result, it is the duty of every nagual to guide awareness so it will fly toward the abstract, free of liens and mortgages. ~ The Power of Silence

Someone recently emailed me asking why they are having difficulty finding meeting places for “Castaneda enthusiasts” or Toltec Warriors. To them it seemed that this was an insurmountable task and they even suggested the possibility of forming an organization of sorts to accommodate others in their pursuit to congregate with like-minded warriors.

The Assemblage Point

Many people have emailed me requesting clarification on the assemblage point. The best point of reference for this is in the book The Fire From Within by Carlos Castaneda and here is information through my personal experience united with the teachings of Carlos.

People repeatedly choose to perceive the same reality for two reasons. First, and most important, because we have been taught that those particular realities are perceivable and “normal”, and second because our assemblage points select and prepare those realities for being used on a regular basis.

Having done considerable amounts of energy work and teachings for people over the course of many years, it became evident that a major distraction was almost always required for the purpose of facilitating success in assisting one in shifting their assemblage point. One person, who worked with me on a regular basis, asked me if I could assist him with something when we got home from our walk in the desert. I said, let’s do it right now and he asked me if we could without the assistance of sage, feathers and a rattle. As a committed apprentice on the path of awareness, he was at a point in this juncture when he needed to move beyond this distraction so I explained that those items simply serve as a tool to help provide focus to the task at hand. He asked me if I needed them to do my work and was surprised when I told him no, they are only utilized to create a focal point in order to shift the assemblage point and that they don’t serve me at all.
