Respect is extremely important, and if we want to receive respect, it is equally important to show the same amount of respect to others. – Don Miguel Ruiz
It is always sad when someone dies but what saddens me on this day is the mean, offensive, and licentious response from people regarding today’s passing of Rush Limbaugh. As a simple means of respect for his family, friends, and colleagues wouldn’t it be more prudent and compelling to say nothing at all if all someone has to offer is an expression of their hatred? Since Limbaugh was a far-right conservative it becomes glaringly obvious that the hatred expressed in the comments section of the linked article is shared by far-left democrats. How people can dare to be so callous at the moment of this man’s death, and with such audacity, is beyond me. Do people not even consider for one moment that his family and friends who read these hateful comments will be hurt even further during this time of their mourning? I was horrified as I read through the despicable comments at the end of this article. https://www.foxnews.com/media/rush-limbaugh-dead-talk-radio-conservative-icon
The warrior seeks impeccability in his own eyes and calls that humbleness. The average man is hooked to his fellow men, while the warrior is hooked only to himself. You’re after the self-confidence of the average man, when you should be after the humbleness of a warrior. The difference between the two is remarkable. – Carlos Castaneda, Tales of Power
The world is reeling from the infiltration of the predator having become so immense, the biggest humanity has ever experienced and the current state of frustration is due to so many corrupt and deceitful things that are deeply rooted in centuries old Illuminati and Deep State conditioning and control. What we need now is notunity, it’s solidarity. While unity is unaccountable oneness and the total buy-in of single-mindedness for one single organized effort for a common purpose, solidarity is a countable bond of unity between individuals united around a common goal. That said, solidarity will unite everyone in their effort to maintain their individuality without blindly acquiescing in “unity” for a one-mind, same-mind existence. Fine line indeed.
The spirit of a warrior is not geared to indulging and complaining, nor is it geared to winning or losing. The spirit of a warrior is geared only to struggle, and every struggle is a warrior’s last battle on earth. Thus the outcome matters very little to him. In his last battle on earth a warrior lets his spirit flow free and clear. And as he wages his battle, knowing that his intent is impeccable, a warrior laughs and laughs. – Don Juan, A Separate Reality
Happy New Year! Upon entering into 2021 I’ve often wondered if we still have the capacity to choose freedom or if we have to fight for it. It has occurred to me that nothing has changed as it pertains to uplugging from the predator and choosing freedom. I’ve written “unplug from the predator” hundreds of times over the years and now, with the predator as humongous as it is, I continue to declare, “BE GONE, you have no power here.” You are the universe and as such, we have infinite boundlessness and immeasurable power.
“Crazy Horse is coming. Crazy Horse is coming!” Off toward the west and north they were yelling “Hókahé!” like a big wind roaring, and making the tremolo; and you could hear the eagle bone whistles screaming.” ~ Black Elk as transcribed by John Neihardt, Black Elk Speaks
It is often said that the Lakota phrase, Hókahé, was Crazy Horse’s battle cry to mean today is a good day to die but this is incorrect. Hókahé loosely translates to let’s go! yeah! I’m not afraid, and let’s unite!
Don’t blindly follow a path. Forge into the unknown gathering knowledge and awareness along the way. Immerse yourself into the depths of all things so that you may come to know the world through your own passion and not through the vision of another. ~ Alejandro, Becoming Awareness
We are beings who are fully capable of liberating ourselves from the repetitive patterns of humanity. By connecting with silent knowledge and aligning with universal life force energy we have access to unlimited potential for creating ourselves and our reality. How we choose to create it is entirely up to us.
“My ride showed up. Celebrate Love. Celebrate Life.” – John Trudell, February 15, 1946 – December 8, 2015
An amazing warrior of freedom has been liberated from human form. John Trudell was and will always be a hero to many. In his last words Trudell said expressions of concern and love for him have been “like a fire to my heart. Thank you for all that fire.” It is accurate to say that John burned from the fire within.
Anyone can try to become a man of knowledge; very few men actually succeed, but that is only natural. The enemies a man encounters on the path of learning to become a man of knowledge are truly formidable; most men succumb to them. – Don Juan, The Teachings of Don Juan
In The Teachings of Don Juan, don Juan discussed the four natural enemies with Castaneda. These, he explained, are fear, clarity, power, and old age. Moving through my life I have found that most warriors are able to overcome fear. They are committed to facing their fears, defying it, and eventually defeating it. In their new states of fearlessness they begin to explore new areas of awareness which brings them to a state of clarity.
Clarity, however, presents a deeper battle, one that sometimes stifles a warrior’s growth. As a warrior arrives to a state of clarity their growth may become halted because they come to believe that they have become expert seers with all the answers. This clarity, don Juan said, is hard to obtain but also blinds and prevents them from learning anything new as they impose their limited knowledge onto others through the belief that they have become powerful seers. They must come to understand that their clarity was merely a point before their eyes.
When we do not take the time to enter into silence we cannot know the mysteries of life. Instead we only come to know what lies on the surface. – Lorraine Voss
Cultural homogenization is an aspect of cultural globalization and refers to the reduction in cultural diversity through the popularization and diffusion of a wide array of cultural symbols — not only physical objects but customs, ideas and values. Cultural homogenization in theory could lead to the development of a single global culture and the elimination of all other, local cultures becoming the same. ~ Wikipedia
It appears that there is a strong push and incentive towards cultural homogenization or sameness in our current culture. This is sad because it eliminates cultural diversity as it seeks to eliminate differences between people and instead, coerces them into maintaining a one-mind, one-voice, one-world myopic view through hearsay. In spite of the notion that this is an all-inclusive route for conjectural cultural uniformity, it is instead a course that is detrimental, regressive, and fails to incorporate individual evolutionary progress.
A level of practical knowledge was included as part of teaching the mastery of awareness. On that practical level don Juan taught the procedures necessary to move the assemblage point. The two great systems devised by the sorcerer seers of ancient times to accomplish this were: dreaming, the control and utilization of dreams; and stalking, the control of behavior. ~ Carlos Castaneda, The Power of Silence
Warriors know that it is necessary to modify the foundation of our perception from that of reason to that of the abstract; the ultimate foundation of a warrior’s perception rests on the certainty that energy is all there is.
When a warrior makes a commitment to total freedom the only thing that is required is to hone their mastery. Mastery of dreaming and mastery of stalking. Warriors know that they need energy in order to face the unknown and when arriving at the point of facing the pure abstract they must be impeccable. If they are not, they will not dart past the eagle and will, instead, remain caught within the emanations that recycles them back into the karmic loop of reincarnation.
For don Juan, sorcery was the act of embodying some specialized theoretical and practical premises about the nature and role of perception in molding the universe around us. ~ Carlos Castaneda, The Art of Dreaming
Evolution begins with inner silence. When we take the time to sit in stillness and connect with the earth we begin to connect to the intricate energetic web of the universe of which we are all a part; of which we emerged! To evolve, one must have command over the totality of oneself. This means that you encounter power by removing yourself from the concerns of the “group mind” and replace them with decisions of power and strategies that bring you to awareness. It involves practicing silence to overcome the domestic condition of having membership in a social group and removing yourself as a hostage in another person’s inventory with an obligation to uphold an image before others. You are an autonomous, individual who has come to realize that your next step is to liberate and evolve your consciousness. If you choose not to, you may remain stuck within a loop of repeating patterns over and over again.
Those of you who place a higher value on your own perceptions than on the interpretations of others have access to more informational awareness that is interconnected with the true alignment of intent than the mostly faulty descriptions of reality that have been provided to you.
