forge into the unknown

Don’t blindly follow a path. Forge into the unknown gathering knowledge and awareness along the way. Immerse yourself into the depths of all things so that you may come to know the world through your own passion and not through the vision of another. ~ Alejandro, Becoming Awareness

We are beings who are fully capable of liberating ourselves from the repetitive patterns of humanity. By connecting with silent knowledge and aligning with universal life force energy we have access to unlimited potential for creating ourselves and our reality. How we choose to create it is entirely up to us.

Evolving Beyond Earth

There exists a place where people are able to be so free of the distractions that they connect with silent knowledge and glean new, beautiful nuggets of awareness to share. Others honor the beauty of that nugget with gratitude and in freedom. And then other people connect with silent knowledge and share their beautiful nugget of awareness and are honored for the journey that has taken them to see in that manner and share in freedom. And no one becomes attached to these shining nuggets and attempts to “take” them or “have” the same nugget but instead, venture into the unknown to encounter and then share their beautiful piece with the whole, everyone marveling with wonder at the awe and auspiciousness of the universe. This is a new web of existence, each of us lightly traversing these beautiful gossamer threads of awareness, continuously and creatively weaving together through all of eternity. ~ Female Warrior

I am going to be sharing my story about recapitulating the earth, where it came from, what it means to me and why I find it to be important on my journey as a warrior of freedom. It is based on my personal experience and connection with silent knowledge. I don’t expect anyone to believe it, buy into it, try to embody it or otherwise make it their own. What I’m interested in is having the freedom to create and co-create. And if you recognize some nugget of awareness for yourself in the experiences I share then YAY, because there are many from whom I have gleaned nuggets of awareness over the years. I am open to constructive and engaging discussion and hope that before you attempt to tell me I’m wrong or that I need to seek clarification of my perceptions that you take the time to consider and honor the story you are creating and/or co-creating. How drab our world would be if we were all aligned with the same one. Our diversity is what makes us warriors of freedom.

Choosing Evolution

We are perceivers. The world that we perceive, though, is an illusion. It was created by a description that was told to us since the moment we were born. ~ Don Juan, Tales of Power

The world is composed of a massive diversity of people, and of these, there are two classifications that define them; sustainers and creators. We are perceivers, however, the majority of people are sustaining illusions that was imparted upon them from the moment they were born. And since most people operate from a field of reason, they continue to assimilate the ideas and thoughts of others which ultimately puts them in a position of sustaining those ideas and thoughts. Those are the ideas and thoughts from which mythology, ritual and ideologies were born and are maintained. They are patterns that are replayed and slightly adjusted to justify ones current reality. They rarely consist of original thoughts, they are not born of creative expression, and they are obstacles to the evolution of humanity.

Humility, Impeccability and Freedom

A warrior acknowledges his pain but he doesn’t indulge in it. Thus the mood of a warrior who enters into the unknown is not one of sadness; on the contrary, he’s joyful because he feels humbled by his great fortune, confident that his spirit is impeccable, and above all, fully aware of his efficiency. A warrior’s joyfulness comes from having accepted his fate, and from having truthfully assessed what lies ahead of him. ~ Don Juan, Tales of Power

We learn to free ourselves from old patterns when we recapitulate them with finality. Yeah, that’s what happened last week when I allowed my impeccability to slip and descend into the nightmare of the predator, feeling the pain of that particular reality and then indulging in it. A long-ingrained pattern of reacting to the atrocities that occur with regularity in a dream that doesn’t belong to me. I didn’t create it, I don’t participate in it, I don’t maintain it and I certainly cannot, under any circumstances, feed it by reacting to it. I must treat it as though it doesn’t exist.  As warriors we have no choice but to be impeccable with our energy.

Utter Awareness

Therefore, the Rule for the seers of the new era is preparation; that is their distinctive stamp. They should cultivate their minds in order to know and understand everything. The intellect is the comfort of today’s Toltec, just as in the past, it was the affection for rituals. ~ Carlos Castaneda, Encounters with the Nagual

When I recently read this quote from Carlos it struck a chord deep within me. It appears to me that people who are truly beginning to prepare for some monumental shift in awareness through awareness. This shift is not limited to humanity, it also includes the earth. First suffice it to say that the Toltec are, according to don Juan, men and women of knowledge. There are now, more than ever before, warriors and people of awareness walking on the earth. They are from every ethnic background, every level of education, and represent every age group.

The Trap of Ignorance

Today is Ash Wednesday and the first day of Lent. Wikipedia defines Ash Wednesday as the “Christian practice of placing ashes on the foreheads of adherents as a sign of mourning and repentance to God” and Lent as “a time of sacrifice for Jesus”. I didn’t know that this religious holiday was today until a 20 year-old came into my office with ashes on her forehead and lamented that she is giving up chocolate, again, for Lent and expressed how much this pains her. So I asked her, “why”?

She was surprised by the question and said, well, um, because I like chocolate a lot. “Yes,” I said, “but why are you giving it up?” Well, um, because you’re supposed to give up what you like the most for Lent. “Yes, but why?” Well, um, so you can appreciate it more after 40 days of not having it. “Okay, but why are you doing this? I mean, what is the purpose of Lent, why was it created?” Well, um, I don’t really know but it’s part of my faith and that’s how I grew up. “So you just do it because that’s what’s always been done?” Well, um, yeah, I guess so. I suggested she just keep eating chocolate, Jesus would probably be happier to know she was enjoying herself.

The Ruthlessness of a Warrior

Man’s predicament is that he intuits his hidden resources, but he does not dare use them. This is why warriors say that man’s plight is the counterpoint between his stupidity and his ignorance. Man needs now, more than ever, to be taught new ideas that have to do exclusively with his inner world – shamans’ ideas, not social ideas, ideas pertaining to man facing the unknown, facing his personal death. Now, more than anything else, he needs to be taught the secrets of the assemblage point. ~ Don Juan, The Power of Silence

This quote speaks of the fixation of the assemblage point of the earth. The fixation is a man-made assemblage that tells us that there is only one story on earth, one way to live and that until we are able to live in this single manner, and we will have no choice but to perfect ourselves in order to align with it. While there are multiple ways to align with the story, the point is conformism and compliance to a system of beliefs founded and grounded on authority, control and over-consumption.

The Sorcerer’s Revolution

When a warrior has put an end to his routines, when he doesn’t care anymore whether he has company or is alone, because he has heard the silent whisper of the spirit; then you can say that, truly, he has died. From that point on, even the simplest things in life become extraordinary for him. For this, a sorcerer learns how to live again. He tastes each moment as if it were the last one. He doesn’t waste any effort on feeling dissatisfied, nor does he throw away his energy. He doesn’t wait until he becomes old to ponder the mysteries of the world. He is ahead, he explores, he knows and marvels. ~ Carlos Castaneda, Encounters with the Nagual

The Gulf oil spill that has turned out to be much more than a spill and instead a catastrophic disaster of monumental proportion threatening to wipe out ecosystems and oceans and marine life and livelihoods. A recent “discovery” of nearly $1 trillion of untapped mineral deposits in Afghanistan will create new opportunity for the earth to be mined, blown up and destroyed further and has the potential to ultimately lead to war as each country vies for control somehow with the US claiming finder’s rights; the horrific stories of the world as it is, as it is becoming combined with the continual push to save the earth, raise consciousness, take responsibility, do what’s right…like a jack-hammer constantly threatening to tear the thin and fragile fabric of existence.

Warriors for Gaia, our Sweet Mother Earth

Ask yourselves these questions: What am I doing with my life? Does it have a purpose? Is it tight enough? A warrior accepts his destiny, whatever it may be. However, he fights to change things, and he makes something exquisite of his passage on Earth. He tempers his will in such a way that nothing can deviate him from his purpose. ~ Carlos Castaneda, Encounters with the Nagual

For far too long humanity has been asked and coerced and at times forced to acquiesce to religious order. Think about it. Religious order. What exactly does that mean? A religious order is basically an organization that, like any organization, instills particular rules, structures, bylaws, guidelines, etc. that one must apply and comply with in order to be part of. In early times when anyone resisted the religious order in preference to their devotion to the earth and her bountiful gifts they were called witches, pagans and heathens and burned at the stake, drowned and hanged. In return for your compliance, acquiescence and good behavior you are promised your salvation, deliverance and entry into the kingdom of heaven which is depicted by rainbows, lush meadows, fluffy clouds, angels tooting horns and stairways lined in gold! Some depictions show dolphins swimming in the clouds and a promise to reunite with loved ones with lots of peace and love.

The Great Illusion

If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear as it is – infinite. ~ William Blake

Last week presented an opportunity to get away, far away from humans; the only sounds being the inhabitants of the forest and the occasional airplane overhead. It was one of those times of necessary withdrawal from the world in order to untangle the energetic lines, or fibers, that had come in and made my thinking crowded. The lines are essentially the ideas and thoughts, situations and experiences that cross my zone of awareness and are, for all intents and purposes, collected by me. It was definitely time to unravel the lines.
