Further Breaking the Mold of Man

The New Seers are the only ones who have the sobriety to see the mold of man and understand what it is; the pattern of every human attribute we can think of and some we cannot even conceive. We are what it stamps us with. ~ Don Juan

Two years ago I wrote an article called The Mold of Man. While diligently striving to continually expand my awareness on this path for more than 20 years I have come to find that there is no true mastery of it, only further knowing, a deepening of awareness and knowledge that can be attained through seeing. Committed to deepening brings more understanding and clarity, most of which comes from silent knowledge.

Manifesting Your Reality

Intention is the important thing: for the old sorcerers of Mexico, intention (intento) is a force that intervenes in all aspects of time and space. To be able to use and manipulate this force calls for impeccable behavior. A warrior’s final goal is to be able to lift his head above the rut where he is confined, look around him, and change what he wants. To do so he needs to have discipline and pay attention all the time. ~ Paulo Coelho

Dream a new dream, create your reality, you are what you think, law of attraction, everything you do affects the web; all familiar catch phrases. But how many people actually realize that this is true? When we allow ourselves to awaken from the fog that surrounds us we begin to see that we truly are free to create our reality. When a warrior is committed to the practice of recapitulation and truly functions from a place of constant mindfulness they begin to see just how easy it is to connect with intent and create their reality. The more energy they have, the easier it becomes to create with efficiency and impeccability.

Awakening to Your Authentic Self

Nagualism is at once taking off one mask and wearing another. Naguals take off the mask that makes us see ourselves and the world we live in as ordinary, lusterless, predictable, and repetitious and put on the second mask, the one that helps us see ourselves – and our surroundings – for what we really are – breathtaking events that bloom into transitory existence and are never to be repeated again. ~ Florinda Donner, The Witch’s Dream

Someone who reads my blog recently emailed me and said, “You’ve mentioned “authentic self” and “being authentic” and so on. How so?” My short response was, “In freedom, of course, free from the patterns and impositions from others that attempt to force us into compliance of how or who we should be. Finding innermost passions and allowing those to flow freely as an expression of one’s self.”

The Power of the Womb

The womb is the way female animals sense things and regulate their bodies. Through the womb, women can generate and store power in their doubles to build or destroy; or to become one with everything around them. ~ Nelida, The Sorcerer’s Crossing by Taisha Abelar

This is true. When we sit in the breath with intention and open our wombs to receive the life flow energy we become one with everything around us with so much fluidity we can no longer discern any separation. According to sorcerers, the womb makes it easy for women to enter into exotic areas of awareness. This makes perfect sense since the womb is a creative universe unto itself. In an interview, one of the witches said, “Sorcerers maintain that, due to the presence of the womb inside the body, women have the facility to displace the assemblage point to a new position.”

Self-improvement vs. Self-awareness

The freedom from something is not true freedom. The freedom to do anything you want to do is also not the freedom I am talking about. My vision of freedom is to be yourself. ~ Osho

The 1980’s and 90’s put a lot of focus on self-improvement. Go to the book department of any thrift store and you will find one self-help book after another encompassing everything on what it means to be a fully-functioning human being in the world. These books are still being published though they are losing ground. They were offered as tools to help seekers become better, healthier, richer, creative, kinder, compassionate, spiritual, successful, forgiving, etc.

Words, Words and More Words

Words are tremendously powerful and important and are the magical property of whoever has them. Sorcerers have a rule of thumb: they say that the deeper the assemblage point moves, the greater the feeling that one has knowledge and no words to explain it. ~ Don Juan, The Power of Silence

It’s a funny thing, these words. Any words. One of my predilections is communications. I am a communicator. My major was communications; international communications, multi-cultural communications, bi-lingual communications, interpersonal communications. And, I love to write as a means of communicating.

Pure Perception

If we were able to transcend interpretation and face pure perception without prejudice, the impression of a world of objects would vanish. In its place, we would witness energy as it flows in the universe. Under such conditions, the chain of other people’s thoughts would no longer have the smallest effect on us and we would not feel obliged to be or do anything. Then our senses would have no limits. That’s seeing. ~ Carlos Castaneda

So what are we waiting for? If the cause of all human suffering is bound to a world of objects, and it is, then let’s get our collective ass in gear and perceive energy directly! Oh wait, hold the phone, we can’t do that can we. Well we can and some of us are. And what I have come to find is that those of us who are happen to be considered muy loca.

Creator or Sustainer?

We are perceivers. The world that we perceive, though, is an illusion. It was created by a description that was told to us since the moment we were born. ~ Don Juan, Tales of Power

The world is composed of a massive amount of diversity of people, and of these, there are two classifications that may define them; sustainers and creators. We are, as don Juan said, perceivers, however, the majority of people are sustaining an illusion that was imparted upon them from the moment they were born. And since most people operate from a field of reason, they continue to assimilate the ideas and thoughts of others which ultimately puts them in a position of sustaining those ideas and thoughts. Those are the ideas and thoughts from which mythology, ritual and ideologies were born and are maintained.

Freedom from Bad Habits

There are three kinds of bad habits which we use over and over when confronted with unusual life situations. First, we may disregard what’s happening or has happened and feel as if it had never occurred. That one is the bigot’s way. Second, we may accept everything at its face value and feel as if we know what’s going on. That’s the pious man’s way. Third, we may become obsessed with an event because either we cannot disregard it or we cannot accept it wholeheartedly. That’s the fool’s way. ~ Don Juan, Tales of Power

Denial. The state of turning a blind eye when current circumstances are discarded so one can feel as though it never occurred. The majority of humanity is in state of denial. They want so badly to believe that everything is okay just the way it is and with the exception of a bit of lip service in order to wow their friends through the initiatives they claim to take, they do little to effect change.

The Ruthlessness of a Warrior

Man’s predicament is that he intuits his hidden resources, but he does not dare use them. This is why warriors say that man’s plight is the counterpoint between his stupidity and his ignorance. Man needs now, more than ever, to be taught new ideas that have to do exclusively with his inner world – shamans’ ideas, not social ideas, ideas pertaining to man facing the unknown, facing his personal death. Now, more than anything else, he needs to be taught the secrets of the assemblage point. ~ Don Juan, The Power of Silence

This quote speaks of the fixation of the assemblage point of the earth. The fixation is a man-made assemblage that tells us that there is only one story on earth, one way to live and that until we are able to live in this single manner, and we will have no choice but to perfect ourselves in order to align with it. While there are multiple ways to align with the story, the point is conformism and compliance to a system of beliefs founded and grounded on authority, control and over-consumption.
