I Have No Thoughts So I Will See

I am already given to the power that rules my fate.
And I cling to nothing, so I will have nothing to defend.
I have no thoughts, so I will see.
I fear nothing, so I will remember myself.
Detached and at ease,
I will dart past the Eagle to be free.
~ Carlos Castaneda, The Eagle’s Gift

I am already given to the power that rules my fate. Power is and power moves. This power, this energy, is an incomprehensible aspect of the eagle’s emanations which, when surrendered to, ensures our existence within this vital flow of energy while simultaneously enhancing our overall awareness. It is nearly imperative to live within a constant state of gratitude for the precious life-force energy/emanations that flow to us continuously from the eagle.

Don Juan reminds us that we must do more than just appreciate this energy flow. We must assume responsibility for it by going to war with ourselves in a fierce and endless battle to conserve and preserve this energy. Ever struggling against the monster of self-importance is what leads to a warrior’s impeccability. Clinging to nothing; defending nothing.

Mastery: Preparation for the Definitive Journey

A level of practical knowledge was included as part of teaching the mastery of awareness. On that practical level don Juan taught the procedures necessary to move the assemblage point. The two great systems devised by the sorcerer seers of ancient times to accomplish this were: dreaming, the control and utilization of dreams; and stalking, the control of behavior. ~ Carlos Castaneda,  The Power of Silence

Warriors know that it is necessary to modify the foundation of our perception from that of reason to that of the abstract; the ultimate foundation of a warrior’s perception rests on the certainty that energy is all there is.

When a warrior makes a commitment to total freedom the only thing that is required is to hone their mastery. Mastery of dreaming and mastery of stalking. Warriors know that they need energy in order to face the unknown and when arriving at the point of facing the pure abstract they must be impeccable.  If they are not, they will not dart past the eagle and will, instead, remain caught within the emanations that recycles them back into the karmic loop of reincarnation.

A Path With Heart

Before you embark on any path ask the question: Does this path have a heart? If the answer is no, you will know it, and then you must choose another path. The trouble is nobody asks the question; and when a man finally realizes that he has taken a path without a heart, the path is ready to kill him. At that point very few men can stop to deliberate, and leave the path. A path without a heart is never enjoyable. You have to work hard even to take it. On the other hand, a path with heart is easy; it does not make you work at liking it. ~ Don Juan, Teachings of Don Juan, A Yaqui Way of Knowledge

There are many paths to choose from out there in the world. In the above quote, Don Juan implied that a path with heart should be chosen because it’s easy. There are millions of paths to be walked so how do you know if your path has heart? Are you passionate about your path and while walking upon it do you feel light and unencumbered or does it fill you with remorse or conflict in which you find yourself engaged in struggle?

Creative Conscious Evolution

For don Juan, sorcery was the act of embodying some specialized theoretical and practical premises about the nature and role of perception in molding the universe around us. ~ Carlos Castaneda, The Art of Dreaming

Evolution begins with inner silence. When we take the time to sit in stillness and connect with the earth we begin to connect to the intricate energetic web of the universe of which we are all a part; of which we emerged! To evolve, one must have command over the totality of oneself. This means that you encounter power by removing yourself from the concerns of the “group mind” and replace them with decisions of power and strategies that bring you to awareness. It involves practicing silence to overcome the domestic condition of having membership in a social group and removing yourself as a hostage in another person’s inventory with an obligation to uphold an image before others. You are an autonomous, individual who has come to realize that your next step is to liberate and evolve your consciousness. If you choose not to, you may remain stuck within a loop of repeating patterns over and over again.

Those of you who place a higher value on your own perceptions than on the interpretations of others have access to more informational awareness that is interconnected with the true alignment of intent than the mostly faulty descriptions of reality that have been provided to you.

Evolving Beyond Earth

There exists a place where people are able to be so free of the distractions that they connect with silent knowledge and glean new, beautiful nuggets of awareness to share. Others honor the beauty of that nugget with gratitude and in freedom. And then other people connect with silent knowledge and share their beautiful nugget of awareness and are honored for the journey that has taken them to see in that manner and share in freedom. And no one becomes attached to these shining nuggets and attempts to “take” them or “have” the same nugget but instead, venture into the unknown to encounter and then share their beautiful piece with the whole, everyone marveling with wonder at the awe and auspiciousness of the universe. This is a new web of existence, each of us lightly traversing these beautiful gossamer threads of awareness, continuously and creatively weaving together through all of eternity. ~ Female Warrior

I am going to be sharing my story about recapitulating the earth, where it came from, what it means to me and why I find it to be important on my journey as a warrior of freedom. It is based on my personal experience and connection with silent knowledge. I don’t expect anyone to believe it, buy into it, try to embody it or otherwise make it their own. What I’m interested in is having the freedom to create and co-create. And if you recognize some nugget of awareness for yourself in the experiences I share then YAY, because there are many from whom I have gleaned nuggets of awareness over the years. I am open to constructive and engaging discussion and hope that before you attempt to tell me I’m wrong or that I need to seek clarification of my perceptions that you take the time to consider and honor the story you are creating and/or co-creating. How drab our world would be if we were all aligned with the same one. Our diversity is what makes us warriors of freedom.

Thanksgiving

I mean that when man’s assemblage point moves beyond a crucial limit, the results are always the same for every man. The techniques to make it move may be as different as they can be, but the results are always the same, meaning that the assemblage point assembles other worlds, aided by the boost from the earth. ~ Don, Juan, The Fire from Within

It’s been a long time since I’ve written, actually, the longest hiatus in the five year history of this blog. It is difficult to put words to the information that reveals itself from the silence. I’ve been trying to decide which direction to go with this blog and the only thing that comes up is forward.

I’ve written a lot about impeccability and those of you who are impeccable actually get it. I’m growing tired of the different distinctions I hear, and even those that I’ve previously defended, about old seers, new seers, modern seers, toltec seers, etc. Either you are a seer or you are not; and if you are, it will be clear that the only thing left is the continual practice of utter impeccability, the conservation of personal energy, and the alignment with intent.

Ordinary people play games to preserve their fragile egos, that’s what they do. It’s boring and laughable. Ordinary people want to rise up to power and “lead others” into a false state of freedom. It’s conniving and trite. In the end, even Carlos was manipulating the lines of awareness to ensure that his “legacy” would flourish in the hope, I speculate, to displace other belief systems. Yes, I’ve said it before; in spite of the genius of the works of Castaneda, many of these are stories and must be recapitulated lest they become the new “religion” as many Castaneda zealots are dedicated to accomplishing.

Impeccable Balance

The warrior’s final challenge is to balance all the attributes of his path. Once he does that, his purpose becomes inflexible. He is no longer moved by a desperate desire for gain. He is the owner of his will, and can put it to his personal service. When he arrives at that point, the warrior has learned how to be impeccable. And for him to continue being impeccable depends totally on the energy he has accumulated. ~ Carlos Castaneda, Encounters with the Nagual

When a warrior begins balancing all the attributes of her path, she comes to realize that she never has to desire anything again because she understands that she has absolutely everything she needs through sheer force of will and her connection and alignment with intent. Thinking that there is not enough of something, or no time left to complete a task, or trying to change something is replaced by simply knowing that when we are so fully in the flow of intent that we have everything we need and there is nothing left to ask for. We take responsibility for our lives by simply aligning with intent, getting out of our own way, and allowing the nature of things to unfold. Power is and power moves.

What is Your Warrior’s Task?

A warrior is devoted to his task, he doesn’t waste his energy on following anybody. He doesn’t care about social customs, whether they may be contemporary or represent millennia of tradition. ~  Carlos Castaneda, Encounters with the Nagual

The last post was a reminder as to the knock of the spirit that brought you to this path or to the principles of the warrior’s journey. In reading your responses I got to thinking about a warrior’s task and wanted to quote some of the warrior’s tasks here.

“Don Juan explained that by using heightened awareness over thousands of years of painful struggle, sorcerers had gained specific insights into intent; and that they had passed these nuggets of direct knowledge on from generation to generation to the present. He said that the task of sorcery is to take this seemingly incomprehensible knowledge and make it understandable by the standards of awareness of everyday life.” ~ The Power of Silence

The Knock of the Spirit

He reminded me of something he had told me often: that volunteers were not welcome in the sorcerers’ world, because they already had a purpose of their own, which made it particularly hard for them to relinquish their individuality. If the sorcerers’ world demanded ideas and actions contrary to the volunteers’ purpose, the volunteers simply refused to change. ~ Carlos Castaneda, The Power of Silence

As a warrior of freedom for many years, it seemed to me that anyone had the ability to become one, just as one might choose to become a Buddhist, and it would often frustrate me to find that people would not choose to walk this path of knowledge and awareness above all others.

Committed to walking my path and maturing as a seer has brought to know that there truly are no volunteers on the path of sorcery. I blogged about this a little over a year ago in my post Volunteers in the Sorcerer’s World and since then I have come to an even greater understanding of what this means.

Others have incorporated components of sorcery into their writings and works that are grounded in a salvationism framework that many refer to as the Toltec Path. This is not a bad thing because so many people are walking the world in which their volunteer’s purpose can be or is instrumental in this manner and as a result, people are indeed evolving and even releasing the stories that keep them in an endless cycle of samsara and suffering. Evolution for ordinary man is slow and if people choose to walk in such a way as to fulfill their life’s purpose, all we can do is be a witness to their path as it unfolds.

I Liberated My Dirt Today

I am going to disclose to you a warrior’s secret. Perhaps you can call it a warrior’s predilection. The life of a warrior cannot possibly be cold and lonely and without feelings because it is based on his affection, his devotion, his dedication to his beloved. And who, you ask, is his beloved? I will show you now. His love is the world. He embraces this enormous earth. The earth knows that he loves it and it bestows on him its care. That’s why his life is filled to the brim and his state, wherever he’ll be, will be plentiful. He roams on the paths of his love and, wherever he is, he is complete. This is the predilection of a warrior. This earth, this world. For a warrior there can be no greater love. Only if one loves this earth with unbending passion can one release one’s sadness. A warrior is always joyful because his love is unalterable and his beloved, the earth, embraces him and bestows upon him inconceivable gifts. ~ Carlos Castaneda, Tales of Power

This beautiful earth is so amazing and every time I take a hike or drive through an area resplendent with beauty, including my own backyard, my affection and love for her deepens.

Driving, this weekend, through twisty canyons and hiking down steep, rocky trails to the river in a thunder and lightning storm no less I arrived at the river. From the recent monsoons the river was rushing and silty from so much runoff. Stately cottonwood and sycamore trees lined the river while two bald eagles soared above. Lizards of all types skittered about. Bird calls were constant. The earth is so alive, so beautiful.

Booming thunder and lightning all around and a light mist falling. Headed out and got trapped at a wash that was flowing heavily with a pick-up truck bogged down on the side of it. Threw all caution to the wind and gunned my little Honda CRV and made it through while the Nissan Armada and Jeep Cherokee chose to be cautious. 🙂

Went home and watched Dirt! The Movie. I highly recommend it. In any event, living in the desert of Arizona most people become mindful to xeriscape their yards and not waste water. As a result many of us have gravel in place of grass and under the gravel is plastic! Yuck! I’ve been meaning to remove it for some time and as of about one hour ago, it’s gone!!! My dirt has been liberated and it can breathe again. Now, we can all breathe easier. Yay!

Keep dancing!
